I apologize for the belated blog update! Here are all the things we are working on this week!
Math- . We are continuing our work on area. The students will be tested on this on Friday.
Multiplication Fluency: Your student should have noted in their agenda which number they are working on for their timed test on Friday. (All students are somewhere between 3's and 7's).
Writing- In writing, all students have chosen a person (Fredrick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony, Eleanor Roosevelt, Mary McLeod Bethune, Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon B. Johnson, Thurgood Marshall, or Cesar Chavaz) to write a biography about. This week students will rivise and finalize those.
Reading- We are using the book Who Was Susan B. Anthony to learn more about her as we continue this unit.
Social Studies- This week in social stuies we are focusing on Susan B. Anthony.
I have enjoyed getting to know the students over the past week and am excited to continue doing so! If you have any further questions for me please do not hesitate to ask- firstname.lastname@example.org
**I know Mrs. Warren lets the students buy snacks/waters with their Dojo money. We are currently out of both. If anybody would like to send in waters or some healthy snacks for the students to "purchase" I'm sure they would be very excited! Thank you!
