Happy Valentine's Week!
This will be my last blog update since Mrs. Warren will be returning on Wednesday. I have had a wonderful time teaching your children and will miss them very much. Math- We will keep reviewing measuring with a ruler and we will learn about line plots. Reading- In reading we are going to review what we have previously learned about character traits and describing characters. Writing- Students are working hard to finish up their habitat writings which they will present at the end of this week. Science- This week we are wrapping up our habitat unit! Students will learn about pollution and the effects it has on different habitats this week. They will have a test over habitats and pollution on Friday. Important Announcements- -Tomorrow we will be exchanging Valentine's in class. ALP students will be sent back to class to participate in this activity. Please make sure your child has a Valentine for every student if they chose to participate. We have 22 students in our class. -Tomorrow we will also be celebrating the student's incredible success with their multiplication timed test by having an ice cream party! This is so well deserved by each of the students! - Publix Math Night is this Thursday Night! - Permission forms went home today for students who would like to audition for a speaking part in the third grade musical.
