The students brought home a school reading challenge today on a yellow paper. We talked about getting outside time, reading, and playing First in Math over the break to Sharpen the Saw.
The pre-K class at Addison is going to be participating in Colorcycle a marker recycling program through Crayola. They will collect marker and practice sorting them and counting them to put in bundles to be sent to recycling. We will be saving old markers in our classroom, but you can also send in old dried up markers from home. They will continue this project through the end of the school year so send in those markers that need to go in the trash anyway.
